Tryfan is situated in the Snowdonia national park, and forms part of the Glyderau mountain range. With it's rugged crags and distinct pointed shape, it is one of the most recogniseable peaks in Snowdonia.
At 3010 feet, it is the fifteenth highest peak in Wales, and part of the Welsh 3000s.
Tryfan is noted for Adam and Eve, two 3 meter high rocks, 1.5 meters apart, on the summit. It is a custom to jump between the rocks, and so gain the "Freedom of Tryfan".
