Llynnau Mymbyr are two adjoining lakes situated in Dyffryn Mymbyr, a valley that runs from Capel Curing, to the Pen-y-Gwryd hotel at the foot of the Llanberis pass.
There only used to be one lake, but a delta has built up midway along the north shore, effectively splitting the lake in two.
